WELCOME

Welcome to Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Co. Station 10 Clinton County. We are located on Linnwood Drive in McElhattan. Wayne Township is made up of 3 Villages including McElhattan, Youngdale and Pine Station. We proudly provide Fire, Rescue and EMS services to the 1,470 residents over 24 Sq. miles in our primary coverage area.

We also cover 17 miles of major highway RT 220, 17 miles of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and approximately 15 miles of major Railway’s running through the township. Wayne Township is primarily Residential but has a large Industrial Park consisting of First Quality Products, Truck Lite, Brodart Inc., Bald Eagle Outlets, PP&L, CCSWA (Landfill), C.C. Correctional Facility and 2500 acres of the Lock Haven City Water property (The Keller Reservoir). We also cover 11 Sq. miles in 1st Due areas of Castanea, Crawford, Greene and Pine Creek Townships. We have a Mutual Aid agreement to run 1st, 2nd and 3rd Due to numerous areas in Clinton County and also Lycoming and Center Counties.

The station currently houses six (6) pieces of Apparatus including 2 Engines, Pumper/Tanker Combo, Rescue, Brush Unit and a Utility Vehicle. We are staffed 100% by Volunteers and our funding is made up of donations from Businesses and Residents of the township, Township Supervisor's, Bingo and Fundraiser’s that include Soup/Sandwich Sales, Breakfast and Dinner’s, T-Shirt/Sweat Shirt Sales, Cash Party’s, an Annual Fund-Drive and on occasion a Grant from the state.
